Now its time to fit all that stuff in the case and make it go with the theme. Clearly those red Radeon's needed some attention too.

First I cut a big piece of black aluminium to double up as a connector cover and for cable hiding. Then I mounted the SSD plate on top of that. I used brass motherboard spacers to get all the layers separated so that there would still be ample airflow from front to back of the case.
Now back to those HD 5850s. As much as I love them, the colour really isn’t in tune with the rest so a blue cover had to be made. I cut another piece of brushed aluminum to shape and then etched in the Sapphire design. Next I superglued a couple of motherboard spacers to the cards, before then screwing the cover in place. Thankfully the 6GB Kingston memory kit is also blue, so it didn't need to be modded.

A few more pieces of aluminum wereneeded to cover up the last bits of the inside to hide the last of those horrible cables, then it was also time for some LEDs to make the insides glow gently.

Another strip of black aluminium was cut with equidistant holes drilled for LEDs to poke their heads through.
This sits in the roof at the back to shine down at an angle. Another was made and then tied to the opposite side at the opposite angle to shine into the case as well.

The inside is almost complete: with the LEDs turned on the case is bathed in a cool blue glow. I realised that blue has been done to death, but it really complements the black very well, and without being too intense it provides a nice background light.
